The Telluride Farmers’ Market makes summer in Telluride even more special for locals and
visitors alike! Whether shopping for your household, checking out locally crafted jewelry, buying flowers, or
coming by for lunch, the market is sure to impress!!

The Farmers’ Market takes place on South Oak Street from Elks park (across Main St. from the
courthouse) down to the Gondola. These two blocks are closed off to traffic from 10:30am –
4:00pm every Friday from June 5th – October 9th.

Besides the beauty and bounty of the organic fruits and vegetables, The Farmers’ Market is a
source for grass-fed and pasture-raised meats and eggs, lush floral arrangements, artisan
crafts, breads and baked goods, Colorado wines, handmade cheeses, and a variety of delicious
prepared foods. All of these are produced within 100 miles.

The market should not be missed! Stock up on healthy vegetables for the week, grab some of
Colorado’s legendary stone fruit to have on hand at your accommodations, bring home gifts and
something special for yourself (such as pottery and artwork), or just come to the market for
lunch! There is often live music at the Gondola Plaza.

Some regionally famous (and highly anticipated) produce includes sweet corn from Oletha,
peaches from Palisade, and tomatoes from Delta County. Kettle Corn is a fun shareable treat
for those with a sweet tooth. You’ll also find mini quiches, scones, and freshly squeezed
lemonade.

Want to grow your own herbs and tomatoes this summer? Come to the market to get your
organic plants to take home and plant in your very own backyard!

While several vendors do accept credit cards, cash and Market Bucks are accepted with all
vendors. Market Bucks can be purchased with at credit card at the Gondola Plaza and can be
used like cash at the market. Have Market Bucks left over? Don’t worry! Market Bucks are
good all season long!
The Telluride Farmers’ Market is very social. Bring your kids! Bring your dog! Bring friends!
And come hungry! It’s only steps away from The Hotel Columbia. We’ll see you there!
