221 South Oak

Intimate Atmosphere
221 South Oak offers a fine dining experience in the heart of Telluride. Located in a historic home, the intimate restaurant is the perfect place for date night. In the summertime, those "in the know" head to the patio on weekends for one of the best brunches in town.
Chef and owner, Eliza Gavin, has cultivated quite the following for her creative take on fish and game, much of it regionally sourced. She insists on fresh ingredients and makes many specialties like sausages, soups, pasta, pickles and ice cream in-house! Try the Colorado lamb prepared with black sesame yogurt and served with a quinoa pancake and parsnips or the rocky mountain trout with a duo of ravioli. Delish!
Eliza took part in the Top Chef competition in 2012 and has never turned back. In addition to turning out top-notch dishes at 221, she also teaches cooking classes throughout the season.
