Brown Dog is a local sports bar serving pizza, pasta, salads, and sandwiches. The restaurant is not big - so be prepared for a wait during high season or when a Patriots game is being broadcast.  However, they will take your mobile number and give you a call when your table is ready, providing a great opportunity to browse shops nearby. 

Best known for its Detroit-Style pizza, Brown Dog also offers classic and thin crust too. Owner Jeff Smokevitch, affectionately known as "Smoke", won 1st place in 2015 at the Pizza World Championships in Parma, Italy. While all the pizza is fantastic, the "Brooklyn Bridge" has attained almost cult status. It's topped with pepperoni, Italian sausage, garlic, oregano, mozzarella and dollops of creamy NY ricotta. It's absolutely sensational. Other top choices include the 3-1-3, Gold Hill and Parma Italia. Vegetarians can try the Koto with artichoke hearts and sun-dried tomatoes.

There are plenty of craft beers on tap to quench your thirst, as well as bottled beer and wine.
